VIP guests were invited to the introductory keynote which highlighted some of the key features and capabilities of the new hybrid sports car before guests were given the chance to explore the car first-hand. At the Civic Auditorium, a large array of i8 cars were on display where guests were then invited to experience the i8 first-hand by means of a ride-and-drive through the streets of sunny Santa Monica, California. The i8 was on display on the front lawn of the Civic Auditorium in its very own custom outdoor pavilion for the public to enjoy while the event was underway.
